Pig & Dan are one of the big newcomers on Cocoon Recordings. Even if both DJs / producers are not really new in the business and play clubs in Spain, England and the U.S. with great success, they are not very well-known in Germany. Their latest and biggest coup is a remix of Underworld's "Play Pig", which brings them in good company with Robag Wruhme and Pete Heller.
With "After Ibiza", they deliver a real beamer for Cocoon, totally right in giving consideration to the Ibiza reference. For ten minutes, echo bleeps and and trippy beats are screwed into your brain in a way that sometimes reminds of Ricardo Villalobos. The B-Side "Touch" comes along in a more tech-house style, with minimal structures and overlapping harmonies, which make the perfect soundtrack for every sundown. After a very emotional break, Pig & Dan unpack the 'Trentemøller' bass and let it go again. A great 12", which provides fresh food for fans of Trentemøller, Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos.
